What with this being the wettest summer since Noah built the Ark (may I use the hose now?) and the longest day long gone.....there is a risk of us all having too little vitamin D in our sun starved bodies....vitamin D helps to prevent chronic disease, lubricates teeth bones and hair (we need all the lubrication we can get) and helps to reduce inflammation and the risk of osteoporosis.
Dont panic tho...you can eat some vitamin D today in the form of mackerel, salmon, herrings, sardines, tuna, eggs and cod liver oil....this may all sound a bit fishy but needs must when the umbrellas are up so...tuck in and luuurve that oily fish!.......oh and when the sun does shine..go easy anyway....pale IS interesting!
