Was reminded the other day of the huge value of facial exercise (yes...more!...stop wingeing!) I decided that there is no excuse at all...doesn't even cause shortness of breath and can literally re shape your face as, muscles respond to exercise and toning as well as the increase of blood flow caused by contraction and relaxation, this can help to give a more even skin tone too...another give away sign of ageing.
So...check our facial exercise routines and get those lips curling! Oh, and if any one sees me in my car pulling faces on the way to work...I am not practicing my gurning routine...I am in the 'facial gym"!!

Yes!!! of course we are! we are visually an expression of whats going on inside. You've only to look at teenage skin to see the hormonal turmoil within shown on the outside, and of course teenagers with a bad diet generally are spottier than those who eat veg and ditch fizzy drinks.
With age its ever more important to support the outside by feeding the inside well...green, green, green all the way will provide antioxidants to fight free radicals..they destroy collagen and elastin (ageing) as well as keeping you kidneys from over working or the minerals from leaching from your body!! Think prevention and the cure will be yours. We are busy formulating our 'groovy mama' organic range of skincare for mums to be...and mums who are!
Please tell us what works for you, or what you are looking for..is your skin extra sensitive, more oily?.....we know that 'glowing' is not always the answer unfortunately as the hormones may dictate. Drop us an e mail or blog comment to let us know x Was in a rather lovely store the other day where the assistant applied a gel to my hands before using a salt scrub, this was to prevent the salt from ending up all over me...or the counter....good idea I thought!
So.....for more efficient exfoliation my suggestion is Water Based Lubricant Gel (boots do a cost effective, non fragranced one) apply a little before salt scrub and rinse it all off thoroughly! Best Beloved is away this weekend so, although I miss him terribly of course, I secretly love the time to indulge in all things single (well not all of them!) such as sleeping in the middle of the bed covered from head to toe in beauty products and coconut hair mask having read the latest copy of my favourite glossy over an indulgent cup of cocoa!
You may be wondering how I ever managed to be anything other than single!.....he is very understanding |
