Have to say I am inspired (although generally not a sporting girl..I was always the goalie in school hockey padded up to the eye balls and hiding in the net) but the olympic beach volleyball teams have left me shamed faced...and the rest of me! They're so fabulously fit, and not just with the glow of youth (some of those are grown up women..look at those toned bodies) !!
So, busy searching for treadmill on e bay now, as Summer seems to have subsided again will need cold weather alternatives....remember too that exercise of all kinds is fantastic for the outside bits as well as the inside...your skin glows when you get that circulation going and lymphatic drainage is improved so the toxins are drained away more effectively....not to mention the relaxed and confident air of smugness you can have when you have finally hauled yourself into the gym!......get out there!

ethica landed on the shelves at the very beautiful Big Blue Sky in Wells Norfolk this weekend and we are delighted with the way it looks....thank you to Catherine for making it all so lovely.
If you're visiting our gorgeous Norfolk coast this summer you really MUST go visit the store its a host of individual and locally sourced products that you simply cannot live without when you see them....secretly coveting several items including Avoca socks and some fabulous nickers I saw....oh and the Gnaw chocolate...and some rather nice soap... What with this being the wettest summer since Noah built the Ark (may I use the hose now?) and the longest day long gone.....there is a risk of us all having too little vitamin D in our sun starved bodies....vitamin D helps to prevent chronic disease, lubricates teeth bones and hair (we need all the lubrication we can get) and helps to reduce inflammation and the risk of osteoporosis.
Dont panic tho...you can eat some vitamin D today in the form of mackerel, salmon, herrings, sardines, tuna, eggs and cod liver oil....this may all sound a bit fishy but needs must when the umbrellas are up so...tuck in and luuurve that oily fish!.......oh and when the sun does shine..go easy anyway....pale IS interesting! Five little bottles of loveliness are coming your way! ethica essentials kit, tucked in its own cute as a button jute bag. 25ml sizes of 'Fresh as a daisy cleanser with linden blossom, green tea and magnolia. 'Good to Go spritz with orange flower, chamomile and green tea'. 'softly softly skin balm' with chamomile and lupine peptides. 'All scrubbed up superfine exfoliant' with hibiscus seeds and grapefruit.....and a 30 ml full size bottle of 'my precious concentrate' with 12 blended oils.....phew!.....oh and a gorgeous organic muslin facecloth to efficiently cleanse your skin...how did we fit it all in?
Available next week.......hold your breath! Today, following note to self yesterday, having sat at desk from dawn till disk and now with cramp (or is it thrombosis??!!) in my hamstring...will not be a desk lizard all day.
Yes...its still raining and I haven't finished the Ark yet, and the house needs attention, and I;m sure I have children (where did I put them?)...however must make time for some fresh air and exercise before I am absorbed by my office chair. However...its all worthwhile as the ethica travel kit will be ready for all to see by the end of the week....Hooray!! Didnt we have a lovely time! Festival at the hall was compact, bijou and a little damp around the edges! A walk on beautiful Wells beach and a natter with the girls while perched on a sand dune followed.....good company and fresh air, what a tonic for body and soul!
Back to work today as we are putting together out Travel Kit...how exciting....hold your breath its coming soon! Yeeeeay!! the rain has stopped in Norfolk. Paddling off to Dubs @ Holt Hall today
6 teenagers and two mums....mum dancing in the sunshine! Todays the day!! Our first products are available and we are thrilled skinny to show them to you. We use only the finest essential oils and extracts, we use the fresh as they are added after the emulsification process has been carried out so they are all effective and active.
