one of our key principles at ethica is not to use excessive packaging...the first thing most of us do when we unwrap, unbox, unbag our lovely new products is to toss away the packaging...often unread. But what happens when you have finished the product? how many of us recycle if its recyclable? please let us know what YOU do??? I have to say that I have been a 'touche eclat' girl for as long as I can remember, its stylish, sleek and delicate and the celebration edition is a must have....however...when my last tube ran out I had to make a quick purchase in my local town and came home with Garnier anti dark circles roll on.....oh my! what a revelation...its cool on the skin to wake you up, its delicate (no creasing) and it stays put all day long, I give it my full support and a round of applause...well done Garnier! Parabens....these are basically preservatives produced from Benzoic acid and carbolic acid and have been widely used in the past to prevent the growth of bacteria in skincare products for over 50 years. Most people can tolerate parabans but sensitive skin may react to them with a rash. There has been concern recently about a possible link between parabens and increased oestrogen production and so many skincare manufacturers are using more natural alternatives..you can check on the label of products before you buy to make sure they are paraben free. Ethica skincare does NOT CONTAIN parabens...so no need to worry here xxx Facial oils are the biggest sellers on the market right now, men and women are loving them and buying them...so whats the big deal?? Simplicity is the answer, most facial oils have fewer and yet very active ingredients and are more readily absorbed by the skin than more complex moisture creams. Also its easy to see what is in it, the components are usually all easily absorbed and deeply nourishing plant or essential oils. The only questions are..."will it feel greasy on my skin?"...well, it shouldnt....ethica 'Precious Oils" is a blend of 12 plant and essential oils which in combination absorb quickly into the skin, we choose oils with lower viscosity for this reason.....so there you have it. Borage oil contains GLA (Gamma linoleic acid) an essential fatty acid in high quantities and so provides a super boosting effect for your skin. Borage is balancing and healing and can relieve even chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis aczema and dermatitiis. Borage oil also improves circulation and restores lost moisture to the skin......fabulous! and of course its in ethica 'Precious Oils'....along with 11 other amazing oils....check it out. Kukui oil comes for the pressed seeds of Aleurites moluccana and is bursting with vitamins A,C and E providing much needed antioxidants for your skin. Kukui leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and without oily residue because of its low viscosity...brilliant for rejuvenating and softening your skin......and so we have made it one of our 12 oils in ethica Precious oils ......happy Sunday to all |
