A grey and drizzly Nortfolk this morning...and we're all so longing for Spring and sunshine so we can leap out of bed and leave the duvet behind!
Treated myself to new Gel nail polish with my manicure yesterday.....and loving it!! The gel system polish stays put for three weeks so you can focus on something else. Audrey Hepburn suffered the 'mean reds' in Breakfast at Tiffanys......well, my advice.....get outside if you can today and banish the 'gloomy greys'

Good morning all....seeing a client for a facial this morning and she has been unwell, and what more to help revive than a prescription facial?
When you've been poorly skin is often dehydrated as the body is trying to cope with toxin removal and needs plenty of liquid to help it do so.....so a few more glasses of water could help get you back to your gorgeous self....oh and remember....dont rush it!....we chase around so much these days, never giving ourselves enough time so....love yourself! How many of you set yourself free from restraint at the weekend?
Having indulged all weekend...Friday evening Prosecco....Saturday cookies...Sunday roast.....the key is NOT to punish yourself. life is for living...ask the beautiful Francaise and they will agree theat a little indulgence in the right place goes a long long way. Who does she think she is??? Welcome to my first post...How exciting! your first question may well be "who is she to tell us about skin care?" and rightly so... well, I am a therapist with more than 20 years of experience in the industry under my belt, I have travelled with Beauty Therapy, learned with Beauty Therapy, practiced and taught with Beauty Therapy. I run a Therapy centre in the heart of Norfolk where I offer prescriptive facials as well as other therapies, I have worked with many of the big skin care companies and have loved many products and facials over the years. I am also a working mum of two teenage boys and a very keen 'grow your own veg' devotee......One of my weaknesses are glossy magazines over which I will muse for ages (given half a chance) and the Beauty pages are my constant craving. I have set up this website and blog to give and exchange advice, tips, joys and grumbles about skin care and what we can do to maintain our gorgeous selves so........Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing from you real soon...x |
